brdcstRadio broadcasting is one of the largest sectors of the media industry and broadcasting itself provided about 316,000 wage and salary jobs in 2008. Employment in broadcasting is expected to increase by 7 percent over the 2008-18 period.* There are many different jobs available within radio broadcasting, and the competition in the industry is fierce.

Job prospects will be best for applicants with a college degree in broadcasting, journalism, or a related field, as well as relevant work experience, such as work at college radio and television stations or internships at professional stations.

Account Manager (Full-Time)

We need your creative and driven talents to help local businesses grow their business which, in turn, helps you and us grow ours! We are always looking to add great people to our team. We’re based in beautiful Charlottesville so it’s a great environment in and out of the office!

It’s a big advantage if you have media sales experience and/or a solid business network of contacts in this area. But we’re also open to talking with you if you’re simply busting with drive and just looking for the right place to start gaining that experience and building your own track record of success.

We have an initial comp plan that includes a base salary for 12-18 months – commensurate with what you bring to the table. Meaning we can go with an entry-level to mid-level to top-level-star base to start. Plus health insurance.
